Suit to Suit: The perks of being an Entrepreneur1 min read

This past Wednesday was lobster mini season in Florida. I, being a business owner and entrepreneur, took the luxury of taking the morning off to venture into the ocean to get my fill of a tasty dinner for myself and family. I have to say that I couldn’t think of a better way to break up the week.

However, this represented only half of my day, as that afternoon I also had a video shoot in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. My day consisted of getting up at 4:30 am to be at the boat at 5:30, in the water at 6:00 for my first dive, then again at 8:00 and 10:00 for my second and third.  Drove to the shop to fill my tanks, then home to clean my gear, have lunch, shower then throw on a suit and drive to Fort Lauderdale.

Essentially my day took me from my wetsuit to a dress suit. This is a luxury reserved for those who have built a business that works for you. Some of us have this, some of us don’t.

To build this type of vehicle you first must be clear on exactly what your business looks like in this manner then create a plan and follow that plan to get to that destination. There are plenty of us professionals out there that can assist anyone on this path.

My wish is that when a day arises and an opportunity like this presents itself that there will be many more of us that are in a position to go from suit to suit.
