I’m going to share with you another equation today for you to gather some perspective. It’s called ‘Your Personal Success Equation’. This equation is P + T x A x A + F = ‘Your Personal Success Equation’. What is this all about and what do all these letters represent? P represents your Passion. Are you passionate about what you do? Is it all about you delivering on your why? Do you do what you do because you want to serve the better good and get others what they want? When you bring your passion to the game and your business, things will work out very well for you and those you serve.
You next take that passion and add a T for Talents. Some of us have God-given talents that we work on and enhance to get even better. Some other talents we can acquire. We need to concentrate and leverage what we are most good at which are our talents.
In this equation, the drive always comes from our passion, we next work on and leverage our talents, we then multiply them by the A which represents Associations, the people and groups you associate with. Who’s in your network? The people and associations you’re working with, are they people who are lifting you up? Are your associations challenging you to get better, go outside your comfort zone, and grow?
When you’re passionate about what you do, you’re enhancing your talents, you’re leveraging your associations, then you will have the ability to take the A for Action to really go after the equation of the success of what you want. However, most importantly, there’s one ingredient left and that’s the F for Faith. Let’s face it. There’s a lot of noise going on right now and business is not as usual. We really need to drive with our passion, love what we do, do it for others, enhance our talents, leverage our associations, take the right action and have faith in ourselves, our team, and our organization that we will do well.
