Do you believe it? 2023, here we are. My God did 2022 blow by, like a Ferrari zooming by on a racetrack? Vroom, that was 2022.
My question to you is; have you scheduled or taken some time over this week or next to reflect on what you’ve accomplished in 2022, and what you want to accomplish in 2023?
If you’re up for it, I have a little exercise that we’ll send to you if you wish. It’s a Year-End Workbook; a time to reflect. It gives you the opportunity to look back and see what you achieved in 2022, what you didn’t achieve in 2022, and what you need to roll over to 2023. It records what you’re grateful for, your biggest wins, and your biggest accomplishments.
You can document your goals; both personal and professional, and your rewards when you achieve those goals. It’s important to have your rewards already set up so that when you accomplish your goal, you check off that reward and celebrate. If we don’t have any pre-written or scheduled awards or celebrations when we accomplish big goals, what’s the sense of accomplishing goals? You’re going for the carrot on the stick. It’s not necessarily only about the journey of the goal. You also want to win that carrot.
We have a new year upon us, 2023. How are you going to make an impact on this world in 2023? How are you going to make an impact on your team, your family, your community, your organization, and your clients? How are you going to step up to be a little bit better this year than you were last year? A lot of interesting questions. My encouragement and challenge to you is, are you up for taking a little time to sit back and document all that is important to you so you can get crystal clear on how you’re going to show up and accomplish your goals in 2023?
