The word for this week is end. When I was a little kid, I used to watch those old movies with my parents. You remember the old-fashioned movies? At the very end of the movie, they would have “The End” in big bold letters when the movie was over. That was it.
In business or in life, sometimes we hear the end as it’s over. There’s nothing new. Nothing next. But the end means effort never dies. So, in this case, there is no end.
When we’re persistent on our goals, clear on where we’re going. Clear on our vision; what our company’s all about, our goods and services, how we want to serve the world, serve our community, get our brand out there and do a great job for our customers and clients, end means effort never dies. We’re consistently working on becoming our best, teaching our team become their best, creating the brand and culture that the team represents with pride in selling your goods and services so that your clients become raving fans. Effort never dies.
Think of everything we have at our fingertips today that makes our life easy, electricity, gas, electronics, technology. All these things at our fingertips that make our life easy, they were created because of somebody’s effort never died. They persevered, they followed through, they were clear on a definite path, they were clear on what they wanted to create, and they kept going forward with persistence until it was delivered.
So, remember, there is never an end. There’s always a new beginning. I encourage you to now associate the word end as effort never dies. This will provide you the perseverance to continue on in the face of any adversity. Understanding that as you put in the work, stay steadfast on your mission and purpose, that you will eventually accomplish your goals.
